Course Description:
This qualification, as described in the CPP Property Service Training Package, equips individuals with the entry level occupational licensing requirements for the security Industry in Victoria.
The CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations is your first course needed to enter the security industry. After successfully completing this course, you can apply to the Victorian Police for a Private Security license for:
- Unarmed Guard
- Crowd Controller
- Control Room Operator
Possible Occupational Outcomes:
There is a massive shortage of licensed security officers as the security industry has lost 30% of the licensed security officers over the past 3 years due to Covid-19. As a result, most security firms are currently looking for the security staff.
You can work at the airports, shopping centres, parliament house, government buildings, banks, corporate buildings or major events like football, cricket, rock concerts, grand prix, soccer, horse racing, commonwealth games, Olympic games and get paid for it.
